We are NewCoffee. We have been roasting high-quality coffee at our traditional roasteries in Mülheim an der Ruhr since the 1960s, and in Ketsch since the 1970s. Our mission is to take your love of coffee to the next level. And the next. And the one after that.
Our roasteries were originally formed to produce coffee for ALDI SOUTH, and we now supply the entire business group with all of its private labels throughout the world. We make over 35,000 metric tons of aromatic coffee per year and deliver it to customers in the United States, Ireland, the United Kingdom, China, Australia, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Slovenia and Austria.

A passion for excellent coffee.
NewCoffee has a diverse staff of over 160 employees — between us, we speak thirteen different languages. We all share the same passion for coffee that we had in 1960, when we started out under the wing of ALDI SOUTH. In addition to the many professionally trained roasters among us, we also have “Q Graders” – coffee specialists who have completed advanced training in sensory evaluation skills.
Sustainable tastes better.
Where there is great passion, there are also high standards. So while we’re dedicated to making good coffee, we’re equally determined to minimise its environmental impact. Among other things, this means using resources efficiently and sustainably. The management systems at our state-of-the-art production facilities are helping us to do this better and better all the time.

The foundation stone for our coffee roastery in Mülheim was laid in 1960, and we’ve been roasting in Ketsch since 1973. In all, the two roasteries employ over 160 people.
Quality controls are essential during goods receipt and during the entire roasting and production process. Each coffee bean matters, and the aroma and appearance of the green beans are just as important as the taste of the roasted beans. This is the only way that we can guarantee NewCoffee’s intense and delicious flavour.
